What is Home & School Club?
The Home & School Club (HSC) is De Vargas's parent and teacher volunteer organization (like PTA) that helps raise money to fund school programs and provide activities for the De Vargas community.
Every parent is a member so we encourage you to get involved! Attend a meeting to discuss how donations are spent, what HSC is planning for the year, and hear from our Principal. Meetings are currently held via Google Meet.
Get connected and informed about events taking place at our school! be sure to activate your Parent Square account, connect on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook, or ask to join our Google Group.
Our next meeting will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021
HSC helps fund De Vargas’ CMSA Art and Music, P.E. equipment, school garden, and other enriching activities. The HSC works hard to raise these funds with fundraisers, but your direct donations are absolutely critical.
New this year we are accepting donations online through DeVargas.CEEFcares.org
We are excited to share with you our partnership with Cupertino Education Endowment Foundation (CEEF). CEEF will be helping us process our parent contributions through a centralized portal. All funds processed through our site will be redirected back to us. For check payments, please make check payable to CEEF. For company match, please be sure to include our school name and the CEEF EIN number (77-0073617). This partnership will allow us to focus on more parent engagement and community building.
HSC Board Representatives
A huge thank you to these wonderful parent volunteers who have offered their time and talents to helping De Vargas this coming school year. Thank you for your leadership and service!
It’s simply not possible to run all of the extra things we do without parent support. Some of the activities we host include Fun-Run, Book Fair, Dine- Outs, and Field Day.
We are always looking for Project Cornerstone Readers, Lion Stampede lap counters, and Yearbook photographers, or speak with your child’s teacher about helping in the classroom.
Contact us to find out our new COVID protocols and how you can help!
